How users opt in to SMS messages

Users opt in to SMS messages from BookDirectly when they submit a booking request or provide their phone number through the BookDirectly website. The phone number field includes an unchecked SMS consent checkbox directly beside or below the field before the user submits the form. The checkbox is not pre-selected. Users must actively check the box before SMS messages are sent.

Twilio campaign message flow

Paste the following into the Twilio campaign message-flow field:

End users opt in to receive SMS messages from BookDirectly through the booking request form on the BookDirectly website at https://mybookdirectly.com. BookDirectly is owned and operated by Gomez Tech Ventures LLC.

When submitting a booking request, the user enters their mobile phone number and is shown an unchecked SMS consent checkbox directly beside or below the phone number field. The checkbox is not pre-selected. The user must actively check the box before SMS messages are sent.

The checkbox label states:

'I agree to receive booking-related text messages from BookDirectly. BookDirectly is owned and operated by Gomez Tech Ventures LLC. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. View our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.'

Messages are only sent for booking-related and customer-care purposes, including booking request confirmations, host approval updates, rental agreement links, payment links, check-in instructions, checkout reminders, and host/guest communication related to pending or active stays.
